Leaman, Raymond B.
June 23, 1933 - January 17, 2025

Raymond B. Leaman, 91, of Lancaster, entered into rest on Friday, January 17, 2025, at his home. Born in Manor Township, he was the son of the late Frank and Mildred (Brubaker) Leaman.

Raymond farmed in Manor Township early in life and was later self-employed in farm equipment sales. He was a life-long member of Millersville Mennonite Church. Raymond had a keen interest in local farming history and loved to share stories of his recollections. He was very proud of his children and their families and enjoyed times when they gathered together.

Raymond is survived by 6 children: J. Edward (Leah) Leaman, David C. (Jacqueline) Leaman, Dorothy E. (Ted) Frey, Joanne M. (Timothy) Reist, Frank M. (Cynthia) Leaman, and Thelma J. (Dale) Burkholder; 15 grandchildren; 17 great-grandchildren; and siblings: Norman B. Leaman and Martha J. Rousseau. He was preceded in death by an infant granddaughter, Andrea L. Burkholder and brothers: Harold (infant), Mervin B. and Clinton B. Leaman.

The family would like to thank the staff and patrons at Bridgeport Family Restaurant and Pasquales Italian Restaurant for the kindness, care and friendship that was shown to their dad over the years.

A Memorial Service will take place at Millersville Mennonite Church, 437 Manor Ave., Millersville, PA on Sunday, January 26, 2025 at 5 PM. The family will greet friends at the church from 4-5 PM. Traditional interment will be private in adjoining cemetery prior to the service.
